Strategy
Hello! I’m an artist, illustrator, and designer. For 20 years, my studio has produced a variety of creative projects and services ranging from fine art paintings and commissions to textiles, surface design, as well as interactive digital experiences.
History, travel, and food are some of my favorite things and they make regular appearances in my work.
My superpowers are big-picture / strategic thinking and reducing complicated concepts into simple visual experiences that tell a clear story and make things fun and easy to use.

The short story
I’ve been documenting life and travel on Instagram @fieldoffice for 10+ years.
I love history, traveling, baking, gardening, and having fires in the fireplace or outside.
These interests combined with a restless spirit have led me to live in one foreign country, a number of different American cities, and live a few different versions of life as it could be lived.
I’m now based on the edge of the wilderness in Boise, Idaho.
Current projects
• Writing and illustrating a graphic novel based on a diary written by my great aunt in 1921 when she was nineteen years old.
• Baking sourdough bread since 2014.
Favorite projects from the past
• Produced a series of video diaries while I was living in Berlin that created a layered portrait of a time and place in the city.
• Wrote for the Berlin-based publisher Gestalten, where I contributed an artist’s perspective to their books about visual culture.
• Painted large-scale paintings that found homes in corporate and private collections.
